My grandmother forgot my name. This is why I built this.

Welcome to the very first issue of Fully Coded, the newsletter for The Vitality Code. I'm so glad you're here. This newsletter exists for one reason — to give you the science, the tools, and the permission slips you need to come back to yourself, fully and unapologetically. Each issue, I'll share what's new from the channel, the research behind it, and the small, doable steps that actually move the needle on your brain health and longevity.

A Welcome Gift

I have something for you. Tucked away on my website is a page of free tools: brain health guides, an at-home aging assessment, a hyperbaric oxygen therapy starter guide, and more. No opt-in, no strings. Just take what's useful to you right now.

This week, we're kicking off something big: a brand-new 9-part series called The Vitality Code, and episode one is the overview — the map to everything that's coming.

Video highlight:

🎥 New Series: The Vitality Code — Episode 1, The Overview

Your body has a code. Most doctors won't tell you what it is.

My father had a triple bypass at 56. My grandmother developed Alzheimer's in her early sixties. For over a decade, I've been asking one question: is that my future? What I found changed everything — and it's the foundation of this entire channel.

In this episode, I introduce the full Vitality Code Framework: eight interconnected keys, built from thousands of peer-reviewed studies, designed specifically for women 45–68. You'll get the headline science behind each one — why purpose alone is linked to a 56% lower mortality risk, why 3,000 steps a day can cut dementia risk by 40%, why stress (not diet, not smoking) drives nearly half of women's modifiable Alzheimer's risk, and more.

This episode is the map. The eight episodes that follow go deep on each key, one at a time. If you've ever been told your brain fog, your exhaustion, or your sense of "losing yourself" is just aging — this is where you find out it isn't.

🎤 Coming in August: Vitality Code Jumpstart

I'm putting together a live working session — not a webinar, not a lecture. A real conversation, where we walk through the Vitality Code Framework together and you can ask me anything, live.

I'll have details soon — date, time, how to grab a seat. For now, just know it's coming, and I wanted you to hear it here first.

✅ Actionable Steps You Can Do Right Now

Set a timer for 20 minutes this week. Write a letter to yourself from the perspective of your 80-year-old self — sharp, capable, fully present. Have her describe what she sees when she looks back at this season of your life. What did she protect? What did she build? End with one sentence: the real reason she got up every morning in her fifties and sixties and chose to take care of her brain. That sentence is your working Why. No cost, no equipment — just paper and 20 minutes.

🧠 The Research

You're going to be hearing a lot of numbers in this newsletter — so here's the first one. A Rush University study followed over 900 older adults for up to 7 years and found that a greater sense of purpose in life was linked to a substantially reduced risk of Alzheimer's disease.

Separately, a study published in Psychological Science, drawing on more than 6,000 participants from the Midlife in the United States (MIDUS) study, found that people with a stronger sense of purpose lived longer over the following 14 years — even after accounting for other measures of wellbeing.

That's the kind of science this entire Framework is built on.

Every area of this Framework connects back to one thing — knowing who you're becoming. Take the Vitality Code Score and find out where to start.
